1. MathWiz
For more than 20 years, MathWiz has provided K-12 students with a structured mathematics enrichment program that develops mathematical reasoning, problem-solving, and analytical thinking through a curriculum spanning elementary mathematics, pre-algebra, algebra, and advanced middle and high school topics.
The curriculum integrates Common Core State Standards and Singapore Math methodologies to build conceptual understanding, computational fluency, and logical reasoning. Students strengthen their skills through challenging word problems, mathematical investigations, and real-world applications that promote critical thinking and a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
Students are placed in ability-based groups, with lesson plans tailored to each student's learning level and pace to provide the right level of challenge while supporting continuous progress. Elementary students develop strong foundations in number sense, operations, fractions, geometry, measurement, and pre-algebra concepts, while middle and high school students deepen their understanding of Algebra and higher-level mathematics in preparation for accelerated coursework.
Learning is reinforced through homework, customized online practice, quizzes, unit assessments, and periodic reviews. Experienced instructors provide individualized guidance, monitor student progress, and help students master increasingly complex concepts throughout the program.
MathWiz also prepares students for school and standardized assessments, including MCA, MAP, CogAT, Aspire, PreACT, ACT, PSAT, and SAT, while establishing a strong foundation for advanced mathematics courses and accelerated academic programs.
Classes are held in person with flexible weekday and weekend scheduling options. In the event of weather-related or other emergency campus closures, instruction will temporarily transition to an online format, or alternate arrangements will be communicated.
2. ReadingWiz
ReadingWiz is a K-12 literacy enrichment program that strengthens reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension through a structured curriculum aligned with students' instructional needs. The program complements school English Language Arts instruction while developing the reading, language, and writing skills needed for academic success across all subject areas.
Students are placed in ability-based groups, with lesson plans tailored to each student's learning level and pace. Early readers focus on phonics, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension, while older students develop analytical reading, vocabulary, language conventions, and writing skills through increasingly complex texts and writing assignments.
Instruction is reinforced through guided lessons, reading and writing practice, customized online assignments, quizzes, and periodic assessments. Instructors monitor student progress and adjust instruction as students demonstrate mastery of new concepts.
ReadingWiz also supports preparation for school and standardized assessments, including MAP, MCA, CogAT, Aspire, PreACT, ACT, PSAT, and SAT.
Coursework includes:
♂ Phonics and reading fluency
♂ Vocabulary development
♂ Grammar and language conventions
♂ Reading comprehension
♂ Writing and written expression
♂ Critical reading and textual analysis

3. MathElite UMTYMP Prep
MathElite is an advanced mathematics program for students who have demonstrated strong mathematical ability and are ready to study beyond their current grade level. The program emphasizes mathematical reasoning, proof-based thinking, advanced problem solving, and the depth of understanding required for accelerated and gifted mathematics programs.
Students are placed in ability-based groups, with lesson plans tailored to their individual learning level and pace. The curriculum extends beyond grade-level standards, introducing advanced topics while strengthening the analytical and problem-solving skills needed for rigorous mathematics coursework.
MathElite prepares students for admission to selective academic programs, including UMTYMP, CTD, and CTY, and supports preparation for competitive entrance and placement examinations such as the UMTYMP Entrance Examination, Stanford High School Placement Test (HSPT), Northwestern University Talent Search, Johns Hopkins CTY, AccuPlacer, PSAT, and other advanced academic assessments.
Instruction is reinforced through challenging problem sets, homework, periodic assessments, and individualized guidance from experienced instructors. Students are encouraged to develop multiple solution strategies, explain mathematical reasoning, and solve non-routine problems with increasing independence.

4. TestingWiz ACT/SAT/PSAT Prep
The TestingWiz ACT/SAT/PSAT Preparation Program is designed for middle and high school students preparing for the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. The program combines comprehensive content review with proven test-taking strategies to help students improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall performance.
The curriculum covers the core concepts assessed on each examination, including reading comprehension, grammar and language usage, vocabulary in context, mathematics, data analysis, and problem solving. Students learn effective approaches for answering challenging questions, recognizing common test patterns, eliminating incorrect answer choices, and managing time efficiently.
Instruction emphasizes both content mastery and test strategy. Through guided instruction, timed practice, and detailed review of practice questions, students develop the skills needed to approach unfamiliar problems with confidence and apply logical reasoning under exam conditions.
Students receive instruction in:
♂ Reading comprehension and evidence-based analysis
♂ Grammar, sentence structure, and language conventions
♂ Vocabulary in context
♂ Algebra, geometry, and advanced mathematical reasoning
♂ Data analysis, charts, and graph interpretation
♂ Time management and test-taking strategies
♂ Practice with ACT, SAT, and PSAT question formats
Classes include instructor-led lessons, guided practice, homework, periodic assessments, and full-length practice examinations to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
