ReadingIvy is a year-long program with an emphasis on building literacy skills and helps develop solid
knowledge and aids the students to excel in a gifted peer group. The program integrates the rich content of
both reading, grammar, and writing.
Practice is key in the ReadingIvy program. There is a high emphasis on developing critical thinking and
analysis.
Student progress is strengthened through
a. homework assignments for every concept covered (3 days per week)
b. monthly quizzes / mini-test (on the last week of the month - results will be released to the parents on the
first class of the month)
c. cumulative final exam (end of the semester)
Online courses offered by Academic Excellence deliver live instructions. Students will experience engaging and
personalized learning and will be supported by resources like videos, polls, online quizzes, notes, and practice
problems. Our programs will use breakout sessions to facilitate student learning and engagement. Students
will work closely with instructors to prepare for chapter exams and cumulative finals.
Academic Excellence has extensive virtual teaching experience and is trained to deliver high-quality instruction
to every student. Students will have an engaging and personalized learning experience supported by excellent
instructors and technical teams.
Course Objectives
The student will master the grade-level language art skills and acquire above-grade level skills to advance to
the accelerated groups and score high on the State and National standardized tests. The curriculum and
