Important Dates (重要日期)
  • 07/05/2022: Enrollment for 2022-2023 school year is open
  • 08/01/2022: $50 registration fee waived if tuition for Saturday or after-school program is paid in full. 5-10% tuition discount for after-school program if meeting the requirements.
  • 08/13/2022: 2022-2023 school year staff kick-off meeting
  • 09/03/2022: Yucai 2022-2023 school year open house at Central Middle School (tuition payment and distribution of books. 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM)
  • 09/06/2022: First day for the after-school program and full or first half of the tuition, if chosen to pay twice a year, is due
  • 12/06/2022: Second half of the after-school tuition, if chosen to pay twice a year, is due
  • 09/10/2022: First day for the Saturday program and full tuition is due
  • 01/01/2023: Enrollment for summer camp is open; No refund is offered if cancel the Saturday or after-school programs on or after this day.
  • 05/01/2023: $50 registration fee waived if tuition for summer camp is paid in full
About Us

Minnesota Yucai Chinese School is a 501(c) 3 non-profit educational organization founded in 2007. We admit students of any race, age, sex, and nationality to our programs. Yucai offers various levels of Chinese language classes and a variety of academic enrichment classes in mathematics, English language arts, music, and programming. Yucai delivers both in-person and online instructions based on students’ needs. Currently, we run five programs throughout the year:

  • Saturday program
  • After-school program
  • Online program
  • Summer camp
  • Summer SAT/ACT Training

Online Classes

The online Chinese classes are offered to students via, for example, Zoom and Google classroom

Our mission is to help every student love learning and grow to be the best self through learning Chinese language and culture, mathematics, English language arts, music, and programming, etc. In the process of helping students master subject specific knowledge, we strive to cultivate students’ attitude of curiosity, optimism, self-discipline, gratitude, lifelong learning, community service, and leadership.
