Yucai needs your donation to make our programs available to more students. There are a variety of ways to support us.

Minnesota Yucai Chinese School is a community-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Yucai relies on tuition fees and generous contributions from individuals especially parents of our students to run the school. To meet students’ needs, we’ve added different levels of Chinese language, math, music and programming classes with in-person and online options. We have strived to keep all the classes despite most of the class sizes are small. The total expense often exceeds the tuition collected. Extra fund is also needed for special events such as Chinses New Year celebration party, End-of-School-Year picnic, and teacher appreciation day. Your generous donation to Yucai is greatly needed and appreciated!

You can make a tax-deductible donation to Yucai in many ways

  • Direct donation by writing a check to Yucai
  • Donate through charity agencies such as Amazon Smile or your workplace charitable campaign
  • Donate new or gently used Chinese books to the school or local library
  • Volunteer at school to save our cost on hiring administrators or teachers
  • Donate gifts to reward students or donate school supplies

Donate via Workplace Giving

If you work for a company, organization, or the federal government, chances are you've had the opportunity to participate in a workplace giving program. Workplace giving campaigns can take many different forms, but they are typically annual, employer-sponsored programs that offer employees the opportunity to make a charitable contribution through recurring payroll deduction and other payment methods.Please check with your employer to get details of the donation procedure that you can designate the amount of donation to Yucai as “ a specific 501(c)(3) organization”.

Using 3M’s pledge form as an example, it takes two steps:

(1) In "My gift to My Community", selects "One-Time Payroll Deduction in January", and pledges your donation amount.
(2). In section B, check "Specific Organization" and fill in the amount your want to donate to Minnesota Yucai Chinese School
